Testimonials

My child, Christion, has been attending MELC since he was 3 months old. My biggest fear being new to daycares was this going to be the right choice for me and my child. Well now we are going on year 5 and my child has advanced to the K5 class and is a very smart, bright and intelligent little boy. The children are exposed to all cultures and field trips that are about more than just having fun, but a learning experience. The director is caring and passionate for the children. The teachers are loving and attentive. The center is clean, bright and has a setting that children are comfortable in and intrigued to start their new learning experience,” says parent Quiana Ivy.

My children, Trevion and Alonzo, have been at Malaika for 6 years. They have been involved in various activities at the childcare and school. When my child turn four I decided to pull him out the childcare and place him a larger school and within two weeks my child was enrolled back to Malaika. Anytime my family was in need of support the entire staff was there. Education was a non-factor, they caught my younger child up to his grade level in no time. The staff is patient and considerate of all of our family needs. My children are still asking can they attend school at Malaika instead of childcare,” says parent Shelia Williams.

We’re very happy to know that each day we go to work, our 2 year old daughter, Nyla, goes to a place where she is loved. The staff has done a wonderful job teaching her letters, numbers, social and behavior skills. We’re glad they are there when we are not. Nyla is a happy child and really enjoys going to Malaika Early Learning Center. Thank you for all your love and support!” says parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson.

“A.J.  attended Malaika in K4 and K5 and is presently in 4th grade at Hope Fortis Christian School. When he entered 1st grade, A.J. was already at a 2nd grade math level. I was constantly asked where he had attended kindergarten because he was so well prepared for 1st grade.  A.J.  continuously is on the honor roll. I thank Malaika for their help in educated my son because they helped mold him into the young man he is today,” says parent Aron Whiteside Sr.
